England Trip – Sep 09

I was in England from 15th – 29th September. I stayed in Derbyshire but travelled around the surrounding area too. It was a very enjoyable trip, much fine dining was done. Took photos for several new galleries that will be published in the coming months.

I have included some phone photos here to show you what I got up to. None of the photos are from the areas that I used for galleries. They will remain Top Secret until published!

These photos show some of the Derwent Valley (Home to the Derwent Valley Mills) and beyond. The Derwent gave birth to the Worlds first ever factory and is a World heritage site for that reason. My photos show a later factory built on the first factory’s site, plus the original remains. And some other places I visited like the village of Eyam that chose to isolate itself when the Plague was discovered there in August 1665 (A long time ago), rather than let the infection spread. I also met a friendly cat there. And Kedleston Hall where the film The Duchess was filmed with Keira Knightley.
