My very first post!

This is my very first blog post! I have just set up my blog using WordPress. I hope I can use this page to let you in on the life of a Photographer + Web Designer. The crazy mad World of a Photographer I should say. I will go into more depth here than I could ever possible do with my Twitter account. It’s also I nicer environment here than the news pages of my site.

I hope to explain to you where I am and what I’m doing. I will include as many behind the scenes photos as possible to make it more interesting for you. Lots of travel photos from ships bathrooms to hotel rooms and beyond. You will be first to know of any galleries to be added to the site, as you will hear/see from me on location. The wonders of modern technology! I may even use my blog to include information/views on new equipment and where I think Photography is going. Plus what I think of different locations and the local amenities they have on offer. A travel blog?? lol

  1. Welcome to the world of blogging! I see you already have a website with a news feed. No one can comment on your news items though; a blog will be much more communal. Your biggest problem is going to be integrating your blog with your main website and getting people to visit both. That’s why my whole website is built on WordPress, despite the difficulties.

You’ve picked a nice theme. I will be keeping an eye on your blog; I hope you write some photography tips for me. I see that you are using both Tweet This and Twitter Tools. Amazingly, they have no feature overlap, but next version I intend to steal some of Twitter Tools’ features for Tweet This. Worry not: the features will be opt-in and you will still be able to use both plugins on your blogs.

You also used Twitter Tools’ URL shortening hook with my URL shortener I will add this option to Tweet This later.

    I wish you good luck!
